Inspection and Certification

Hill Machinery prides itself on the equipment and services we provide. Our staff of engineers and tool makers focus on the details to make sure that the products we manufacture meet your expectations every time. We meticulously inspect and certify every tool and process to assure ourselves that our equipment will perform. Where applicable, we provide certified CMM reports of our fixtures and tooling.

Fabrication

Our fabrication department is a full-service weld and sheet metal shop. We manufacturer all of our machine frames, weldments, and guarding in-house. Equipment ranging from small ergonomic work stations to fifty-ton punch presses are all fabricated on sight.

Paint Department

At Hill Machinery Co. we take pride in every aspect of our products and equipment including appearance. It is important to us that our equipment not only operates and performs at optimal levels but also has an aesthetic-pleasing value.

All of our equipment is prepped with an etch primer followed by applying two coats of a three-part polyurethane paint. This process produces a durable finish and insures the lifespan of the machinery in harsh environments.

Assembly

Final assembly is where all the pieces come together to complete the final product. Fabricated components, machined details, pneumatics and electrical wiring all come together during this phase. Once fully assembled and tested, the product is ready for customer run off and final approval.

CNC Machining

Our CNC machining department utilizes state-of-the-art machine tools and software technology. The department includes a variety of vertical machining centers, large capacity four-axis CNC boring mill, and wire EDM equipment.

Machine tools are programmed directly from the solid models created in our engineering department. These models are pulled into our CAM software package where machine code is generated and then downloaded to the machine tool. This lean process insures the most accurate and time effective method to produce machined details. This method also enables us to reproduce perishable details for our customer’s with very short lead times.
